  • There's certainly a stark contrast between the computing expeirence on Mac OS and Windows right now. I use both daily - Windows is *so* far behind it isn't funny. And even Vista has viruese already - and it's not even released yet! Mac OS X has been around 6+ years and has zero! Plust most of the software on the Mac is top-notch compared to tons of crapware out there for Windows. If you go Mac with an open mind, you'll likely never go back to Windows again. I'd say jump in now - the water's warm!

  • Image thumbnails/previews have been available in Finder windows in Icon view mode since Mac OS X 10.3, folks: 1. Open any folder with images in it. 2. Select View > as Icons. 3. Select View > Show View Options. 4. Check "Show icon preview". Done deal. This works at any icon size. Enjoy.

  • Sheesh...Are you aware that this web site looks absolutely horrid on Mozilla? The ugly grey bars that are supposed to frame the page overprint the text. Portions off the text gets cut off, etc.! You should really test your stuff on Mozilla!
